Osborne gave a pretty party for Miss Katherlne Little Monday afternon at her home, inviting a dozen friends for bridge and a number of guests in for tea afterwards. The decorations and refreshments of the party all emphasized the yuletide color note. Mrs. R. E. Stevenson won the top score prize and Mrs. John Nettles cut the consolation. The honI or guest was presented a gift for her trousseau. Miss Margaret Osborne and Miss Mary Zeinp assisted the hostess in entertaining. Honored With Stag Dinner On .Thursday evening Elliott Sheorn, whose marriage to Miss Katherine Little will take place next wet k, was honor guest at a stag party given by a group of his friends. The party was held at "The Tines" Lighted rod candles, poinsettias, and holly furnished the decorations for the long dinner table where were seated besides the honoree: Jack Halle. Camden Girl To Wed In Paris A cable from France gives us some interesting news?the announcement of the engagement and approaching mariage of Frances Adeie Savage to Jean Louis Moyse of Paris ?nd London Adele, who is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Savage, Sr., of Camden, was for some time a student at the Boston Museum school of Fine Arts. She is now in Paris, having been awarded a traveling scholarship in fine arts abroad. Adele has been most successful In her artistic career and was the Illustrator of Ronald de'L Kirkbrlde's novel, Dark Surrender." Her portrayal of negro life and plantation types is marked by vivid personality and sensitiveness. The marriage of this talented South Carolina girl and Jean Louis Moyse is to take place in Paris December 24. The bridegroom-elect, although an Englishman by birth, is part French, and has spent much of his life in France, that fascinating country. He is associated with Lloyds Insurance of Ixmdon and lias his headQuarters in Paris. Wo are delighted to know that this couple is planning to spend part of next summer in Camden. for at that time Mr. Moyse has his vacation.?Columbia State.
