Section 2. Kvery person, firm company or corporation engaged in or Intending to engage in any calling, business, profession or occupation for ^ which a license is required, shall ap ply to the Clerk and Treasurer ?>r tiic City of Camden for the saiuo by whom all such licenses shall he Issued, and shall at the lime of applying, make and sign a written statement under oath, and ille It with the said Clerk und Treasurer, setting forth: First, Ills or her or its name or style, the name of the persons constituting such tlrm or company. SecoDd, the calling, business, profession or occupation for which license Is required. Third, the place where such calling, business, profession or occupation is to he carried on; the amount of cupltul invested, or the gross annual income. Parties in business on the first of May, shall muko such application for new license and hie such written statement before May 21st. Section 3. A ponalty of iifteen per cent shall he added to all licenses which are not paid during the. month of Muy, 1936, except such as may become due after that time. Ant provided further, that any person firm, company or corporation win shall carry on. or attempt to carr; on any calling, business, profession o occupation without a license as hereii required, or who shall neglect or refuse to give the information required or to uiiHwer such questions as may be required or who shall fall to attend before the Mayor to be examined by blin when ho required, a* provided in Section 2 and 'I of thin ordinance may be deemed guilty of a violation thereof before the Municipal Court and may be lined not more than One Hundred Dollars, or be*imprimmed not exceeding tliirly days. Section 4 All licence granted under tliis ordinance shall be pouted In y eon pi' iioiih place, exrejtf in ease of vehicles for litre, which v^jicles Hhall have placed upon them metal badges with the number of budget* and the license year marked thereon, such badges lo be furnished by the Clerk and Treasurer upon payment of the license tux. Failure to displuy such badges will subject (lie persons owning or using the same to a penalty of not more than Five Dollurs or imprisonment not exceeding ten days. The license granted under tiiiH ordinance shall at all times be subject to inspection by any officers of the City of Camden and no calling, business, profession or occupation shall he eariied on elsewhere than the place named in this lecense therefor, unless authority be granted by the Clerk and Treasurer, which authority shall he j endorsed on the license. Section 5. ' All licenses granted under tills ordinunce shull continue iu force until the iirst day of May A. I). 11?S7, except such as are written for a shorter period, as may hereinafter be provided. The City Council reserves the right to revoke uny licenses for uny cause which' to them may seem to he Just. Section 6. The following sum or sums of money are required to ho paid to the said Clerk and Treasurer for u license to carry on the business, calling, profession or occupation in whole or In part within the limits of the* City of Camden, us in each cuse specifically appears. Hucksters or peddlers selling fresh meats of any kind on wagons, trucks, each per year % 40.00 (No license to be prorated) No huckster or person selling fresh meats, fowls, fruits, vegetables, merchandise, manufactured articles, melons, eggs or other farm produce may sell same on DeKalb Street from: Church Street to Market Street or on Hro&d Street from Lafayette Street to York Street, on Rutledge from Church Street to Lyttleton Street. Wholesale deliveries of meats and fowls to retail meat markets may be made on said prohibitive areas. All such wagons from which said fresh meats may be sold during every! month of the year except December, January, February, to keep the meats ' on said wagons in refrigerators of sufficient capacity to carry the said stock and all portions of said wagons not taken up by refrigerators to be screened and said refrigerator at all ! times kept in a sanitary condition 1 subject at all times to inspection by the health officer, or any one designated by him. No license for sale of such meats in wagons on streets is to be granted by the City without the application first being submitted and approved by the health officer of the City of Camden.
