Roberts) Only modern scientific merchandising methods are needed to bring to the Carolinus u travel business worth $100,000,000.00 yearly, and the Carolina Motor Club and Tim Carolinus, Inc., are attempting to provide these necessary methods for developing tills business. The Carolines will present to the nation from October 14th through October 25th, "America's Most Historic and Scenic Tour" u method of merchandising our climate, resorts, historic and scenic points, hotels, etc., by actually demonstrating these points to the eastern Travel agencies and to tin- iiiii'i tois or our larger Motor Clubs in the Northeast, and West, who direct the majority of American travel. These folks about 4fi of them, will begin u tour of a little more than 2,000 miles, starting from Greensboro on Monday morning, October 14th and carrying through a visit to the Hattle of Guilford Courthouse, old Guilford College, Furniture Center at High Point, a visit to Old Hulcin and the Moravian cemetery in WinstonKalem, with luncheon at the Robert E. I^ee Hotel, with the hotel serving as host, thence proceeding on to visit the Town of Lenoir, then the Famous Plowing Hock, with the first night stop us guests or Fsceola Inn at Linvlllu, with an evening picnic supper on top of Grandfather's Mountain, reached by the new toll road. The second day of the tour we will ; visit Banners Elk, inspecting Binnacle Inn, ami LoesMeKne College, then proceed on via Newlunds, Spruce Pine, Old Fort to Ashevlile, where the tour will be guests of the Battery Park Hotel for luncheon, immediately departing after luncheon oh guests of \V. The fifth day will find the tour entering South Carolina with a brief stop at Spartanburg and Greenville, and will be guests at the Oregon Hotel at Greenwood, from which point the tour will proceed to Aiken where they will be guests of the Henderson and Commercial Hotels.
