J. Mclntyre and Raymond A.vReynolds, J4., who lost their lives in a collision Thursday night in which two companions were injured, were held here today. The accident occurred on the highway between iSumter and Golumbia when the car containing the four crashed with a potato truck. Miss Sallie Blanding, of Sumter, and Willie Walters, of Sumter, are still in a Columbia hospital. Reports today said that their condition is satisfactory. The funeral of Mclntyre, former Hishopville printer, was held in the Bethlehem Methodist Episcopal church here today. The services were conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Mr. Herbert, assisted by I>r. D. M. Mclver, of the Bishopville Presbyterian church, the Kev. Wade H. Griffin, of the Baptist church and the Rev. Mr. Shuler, of the Hebron church." Interment was in the Hebron cemetery in Lee county. Funeral services for Reynolds, were held this afternoon at the High Hill True Light church with interment in the High Hill cemetery.
