Harney Wallace Slashed. Harney Wallace, a white man who runs a store on Pulaski street, was cut under the left arm last night at X o'clock by a man he said who "Bob" Phillip*. The act was committed in front of Wallace's store, and it is said that a razor was used to do the cut ting. The injured man was taken to the Haptiat hospital, and medical aid immediately rendered, Wallace was jesting well at an early hour this mooting, and it is be lieved the wound will not prove fatal, however, according to his physician, the wound is rather deep and may give the injured man considerable trouble. Wallace is about 30 years of age aqd is unmarried.- -Friday's State. Notice of Election Cotton Weigher at Camden.
