A very instructive and efficient pro if ram constating of papers upon va rious subjects of interest to the profession was ablv carried out, One prominent feature of the pro gram was an address by I>r. D. W. Byrd, of Norfolk, Virginia, subject, ^The Eminence of our Profession; the Measure of our Responsibility," The Palmetto Medical Association is in debted to Ma>*or, City Council, Cham 9 tour of Commerce, the Wateree Medi cal Association and. the citizens of Camdon for a great measure of the *ucce#8 of this session* who ho heart!* ly welcomed it and ho courteous] y jendeid every aid ]>oseiblc for the con venience of the body and who with the much talked of hospitality for which Camden is known, no royally enter tained the delegation. We feel -safe in saying that every member of the Association will re turn to his respective community with new zeal and a greater impetus to take hold of the great responsi-* bility that confronts us. at this pres ent time. Our hope haw been stimu lated to a greater degree of useful ness, arid we shall double our efforts to the end of a better service to our Mlo <v r\jan and a greater achieve ja^^ient to our commonwealth.
