The late city council of Columbia Is undergoing some very severe criti cisms about the Mixou shortage and the stealing of the whiskey stored in the city prison. Mr. Vaun was the accountant who made an audit of the county treas urer's hooks and found a shortage existing there of $1,51(1.01.
