The coroner's Jur\ jrter viewing the
body and seeing the position that she
was lying In and considering other
circumstances, brought In a verdict
that she came to her death by gun
shot wounds at the hands of an un
known party. Yesterday afternoon It.
A. Atkinson a brother of the de<vascd
swore out a warrant before Magistrate
1,. R. Dixon, of this place, charging
Henry M. Atkinson, her husband with
having committed the crime. Sheriff
S. J. Scarborough went out to his (home
anil Immediately arrested Henry M.
Atkinson. Wrought him hen* and lodged
hitn in jail. He has employed the Hon.
Thomas 11. Tatuiu to defend him.
The remains of Mrs. Atkinson were
burled at Cedar Creek1 Rapt 1st Church J
