This *18 a good showing when it is known that many of the counties throughout the j state are broke and are having to ' borrow money. It is about the same amount the" ooun lyhail on~TTand last year including several thousand dol lars borrowed money. This year the county did not have to borrow. Su pervisor West has been keeping hltt eyes on the county's finance and has succeeded in eliminating many of the costs- of keeping up the roads ami bridges, and has at the same time Klven the county good roads.
