The Ladles' Aid Society, of the Lyttleton Street Methodist church gave an enjoyable entertainment last Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Blrchinore, on Fair street. It was a "measuring party," and quite a number measur ed up to Washington, in statue . least. Tfate handsome rooms were, elaborately decorated in pine, bam boo, and smilax, while palms, ferns, and cut flowers were every, where, and the rooms were filled with the soft glow of red shaded electric lights and countless candles, while red hatchets gave a bright touch -to the decorations? theso were em blems the hatchet of historic fame. While there he will be the guest of friends who visited Camden during the winter months last season. He will likely go on to New York for a stay of several weeks.
