Among tbe most enjoyable was an "at home" given by their hostesses Thursday evening. The porches were effectively lighted by Japanese lanterns and for the inside decora tions the gay yellow sunflower was used. An Interesting contest ans wered with the names of girls was enjoyed. Partners for which were gotten by the youug ladles drawing cards that were tied around wrists of the young men and held in the center of the room by Miss Irene Turner. 1 Miss Irene Turner and Mr. Robt. Betbune won the prise, a beautiful I bunch of flowers which was pleas ingly presented by Miss Maggie B. Turner. Music, both' instrumental and vocal was furnished by the J Misses Turner and Bethune. Ice cream and cake was served and at a late hour the guests departed, as suring their hostessoa that they had spent a most delightful evening.
