There will probably he a variety of bill-* on the subject and the trouble is going to be among the prohibi. tionists themselves or rather those wh > have been elected on prohibi tion. . If there should be some who are opposed to prohibition them selves; buiMvhose constituents vo?? ed for prohibition, they will no doubt ease their conscience and explain the matter away to their constituents on thtfrground of ob jection to the bill4* itself. Gov. Tillman is not pledged to prohibi 1 tion, but hi* position is known toj be a division of the license between ! the town and the county. The action of t ie Legislature on this question will be watched with ' interest. Hon. Cole L. HIease has prepared i a bill which he says he will intro duce at the beginning of the ses sion.
