G. DAVIS Walter Glenn Davis, 52, lifelong resident of Kershaw county, passed away at a Columbia hospital Thurs day, June 5 at 1 o'clock in the after noon after an illness of several days. A member of Spring Hill Methodist church in Kershaw county, Mr. Davi3 leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn his death. Funeral services wore held at 3 o' clock Friday afternoon from Beulah Methodist church near here, conduct ed by the Rev. T. G. Cannon, ip-astor of New Brookland Methodist church, assisted by tho Rev. Mr. Godbold, pastor of Beulah Methodist church, and tho Rev. M. F.. Derrick of Rigde way. Interment was in tho church cemetery. Surviving Mr. Davis are: ono daughter, Mrs. W. F. Simon of Co lumbia; one son, T. P. Davi.i of New Brookland; two sisters, Mrs. G. H. I<. Robinson of Union and Mrs. Kershaw Hinson of S'umter; ono brothor, P. T.
