Twenty members were present. After the usual routine of business wtas carried out, a very full and in i uruettve report 01' the Convention in Aiken was given by Mrs. R. E. Chew. ning1. A rising vote of thanks was given I Mrs. Sam Karesh for her splendid work this year. The Camden Unit having won two trophies in Unit Activities work under her able lead ership. It was decided to hold our Augusi Meeting out in the open, time ami jlace to be announced later. Miss Ethelyn Moseley accompanied on the piano by Mrs. James Gandy rendered a lovely solo. The hostess, Mrs. Jack YVhitaker Sr. and Mrs. R. M. Kennedy, Jr., ser ved ico cream and cake. NEIGHBORHOOD BRIDGE CLUB ENTERTAINED On Wednesday afternoon at her home in Lake View, Mrs. Withers Trotter was hostess to the Neighbor hood Bridge Club. Three tables were placed for bridge Substituting for the afternoon were y" .John DeLouche, Mrs. Arthur Clarke and Miss Cornelia Aldret. ?Mrs. John D^Loache won high scor' prize. The hostess served delightful re freshments. MISS LENA STEVENSON HONORS GUEST On Saturday afternoon Miss Lena Stevenson gave a lovely Bridge Party of three tasbles for her house nuest, Miss Elizabeth Ciilp of Fort Mill, S. Miss Caroline Nelson was the win ner of the high score prize and the honor guest, Miss Culp was presented with a dainty gift. The hostess assisted by ^er Mother served a delicious sweet course.
