On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. J.
B. Queen entertained the "Weekly
Contract Bridge Club" at their home
on Broad Street. Three tables were
arranged in the living room which
was bright with spring flowers. Mrs.
S. W. VanLandingham and Hubert
Wilson were winners of high score
prizes. Floyd Beaver cut consolation.
A salad course with cakes, sand
wiches, and tea was served.

TINDAL ENTERTAIN.
The Thursday evening bridge club
was entertained this week by Mr. &
Mrs. Hugihey Tindal. A delightful
course dinner was served before the
game to the following members: Mr.
& Mrs. Alfred McLeod, Mr. & Mrs.
Joe Guthrie, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Beard,
and Mr. & Mrs. Tindal. High score
was made by Mrs. Tindal.

bration of the 200th Anniversary of
the birth of George Washington. M.

sided. Mrs. A. Sam Karesh, presi
dent of the Auxiliary brought greet
ings to all present. Miss Charlotte
Salmond, a gifted soprano sang and
the Arnold Brothers added much to
the Musical program with their play
ing and singinff.

2 attractive dances ? the first a sailors
horn-pipe dance and the other a pi
rates dance.

Churph delivered a very interesting
and informal talk on George Wash
ington. A talk that every one present
enjoyed and appreciated.
.After the program the ladies of the
Auxiliary served delicious fruit punch
with red, white and blue cakes.
