In looking over the itinerary of the congressional and judicial campaign, ir the Kershaw Era last week, the places and dates of every county in the District was given except Kershaw county. Why was that? We cannot believe that the candidates for Con press and Solicitor intend to ignore this county entirely. A meeting of the citizens of this community is called to meet at the new drug store building, (formerly the Lynchwood Pharmacy) next Fri day afternon, July 25, at 4 o'clock, to discuss ways and means to raise the capital stock to build a cotton mill at this place in the near future. A gentleman from Kershaw, on0 from i'ageland and possibly one or two others will attend the meeting. Mrs. Amber Outlaw, wife of Mr. Dan Outlaw, who resided about a nil0 below town, died last Friday morning. July 18, after several month's illness with tuberculosis. Mrs. Outlaw was about 35 years of age and is survived by her husband and a number of relatives. She wa s a consistent member of the Baptist church, quiet, gentle and a devoted wife. The funeral services and burial were held at the Hrannon graveyard on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Nearly four hundred names hnv been enrolled on the Bethune Demo cratic club roll.
