Mr. Oliver Watson Shoot* and Kills Mr. Ed. Gregory. A deplorable tragedy was enacted at Kershaw Friday morning of last week, when Mr. Oliver Watsoo shot and Instantly killed Mr. E.I Gregory, a well known citizen of that com munity. It set ms that they bad not beeD on the best of termfc for some time and Friday wheu they met in the road, they locked their buggies togeth er and then the shooting began. Mr. Gregory wus shot twice and died in stantly. Mr Watsco was also serious ly wounded. In the buggy with Mr Gregory at the time the trouble ar')se was two girls and a little boy They got outol the bujrgy and were unburt. Co.ocer Dixon held an inquest Friday morning. "Ed" Gregory, as howas familiarly known, was a young man of pleasing address, and was about twenty-flve years of age He spent several days in Camden prior to the, August pri maries, and was held in high esteem. He ,iot only had a laige family con nection but a large circle of friends who are deeply saddened at his un timely death H's remains were in terred at the cemetery at Kershaw Sat urday evening.
