HOGAN Mr. and Mrs. Judge Vaughan and daughter of Delray Beach, Fla. returned on Sunday after spending the holidays here with Mrs. Dick Vaughan, Sr. of Kinards, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Furr in Clinton and other friends and relatives. They came especially to attend the Adair-Young wedding, the bride being a sister of Mr. Vaughan. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Gosnell spent Thanksgiving day in Spartanburg with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Melton and family. Mrs. Louise Billardand Dena of Whitmire visited Mr. and Mrs. J. P. SchumpertonThurs- day. Mi ss Judy Davis of Camden spent ttte holidays with Miss Karen Lowery. On Sunday, Mrs. Flla Lowery, Mrs. Josie Boyce and Mrs^Carrie Belle Boyce visit ed Mr. and Mrs. George Alls- broi>k in Columbia. Enjoying Thanksgiving Dinner with Mrs. Holcomb were Tommy Holcombe and children of Joanna, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Clement and family of Greenwood. On Friday, Mrs. Holcombe, S/Sgt. Holcombe and family were supper guests of the formers sister and brother- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sprouse in Laurens. Two other sisters, Mrs. Frances Dicker- son of Laurens and Mrs. Kathryn Bononte of New York, were there also. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Morgan, Joey and Tammy of Green ville were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bedenbaugh and on Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Croft, Stacy and Wendy also of Greenville visited them. SN Hall Russell of Norfolk, Va. has returned after spending a nine day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Russell. On Thanksgiving Day, he and Miss Babs Hanback, joined Mr.'and Mrs. Russell and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Bridges in Greenville. Miss Susan Davenport, stu dent at Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, Tenn. spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Davenport. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth C. Griffin and sons, Ken, Randy and Wayne of Pendleton were dinner guests of Mrs. J. M. Bnzard. Dropping in on Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cash of Cowpens. CLUB MEETS The Joanna Woman's Club will meet on Thursday (tonight) at 7-.30 p.m. at the clubhouse. All memliers are urged to attend. CARD OF THANKS We wish to say a sincere thank you to the many friends for their kindness and sympathy extended to us after the fatal accident nf our son, Johnny. TUESDAY - Milk, spaghetti sauce with ground teef, ground pork, tomato paste, spaghetti, Green salad with tomatoes and lettuce, hot rolls, butter and banana pudding. COVERED DISH SUPPER The members T the Masons and Eastern Star, and their families, enjoyed a family Christmas party n Saturday evening at the Joanna Club house. The group enjoyed the good food, and the fellowship they shared throughout the evening. FRIDAY - Milk, turkey stew with corn, potatoes, tomatoes and onions, loaf slices, butter and prune cake.
