CLYDE TRAMMELL, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Temple ton and Mrs. Quincy Roof visited Mrs. Kenneth Bagwell in Self Memorial Hospital in Green wood on Tuesday of last week. On Saturday Mrs. Wade Pen nington, Mrs. Roof and Mrs. Templeton visited their niece and cousin, Mrs. Fred Colson and her new son, Robert Allen Colson in the Wallace Thomp son Hospital in Union. Miss Priscilla Gaskins of Anderson spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gaskins. Mrs. G. C. Parrish, Jr. and Mrs. Carol Cooper and Doug were Saturday guests of the formers fattier, H. W. Wil liams and Mr. and Mrs. Par rish Sr. They came especially because of the illness of Mrs. Williams in Bailey Memorial Hospital. CHURCH OF GOD REVIVAL TO BEGIN Beginning Sunday, Nov. 22 through Nov. 29 there will be revival services at the Lydia Church of God with Evangilist Woodrow Morgan of Cleveland, Tenn. as visiting preacher. Services will tje field each evening at 7:15 p.m. with the public invited. CHILD CARE GIFT SUNDAY Everyone of the Lydia Baptist Church will be bringing five pounds of sugar or canned milk to church on Sunday, as before, to be given to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, the Baptist Home in Greenwood for Thanksgiving. Special envelopes will be pro vided for the money gifts. STUDY MONDAY ON TAIWAN The Foreign Mission Study Book “Taiwan: Unfinished Re volution’ will be taught by Rev. M. J. Sanders at the church on Monday at 7 p.m. Especially the church women and others are invited. Calvary Church women will join the Lydia group. WOMAN’S CLUB BANQUET The Lydia Woman’s Club annual Banquet will be held tonight, Thursday, at the Wil son home at 7 p.m. The members and their hus bands will enjoy their pre- Thanksgiving affair, leaving from the Lydia Community Building at 6:40 p.m. BRIDE-ELECT HONORED Miss Gloria Cato, who will be married to Mr. Weston B. Dixon Friday, November 20, at the Lydia BaptistChurch, was honored with a bridal mis cellaneous shower at the Clin ton Community Building on last Friday evening. A large number of friends and relatives enjoyed games and delicious party refresh ments, all appropriate for the occassion.
