Reeder and son, Jimmy, andMrs.EUie Reeder attended the Golden Wedding Anniversary in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Floyd at Trinity Methodist Church in Newberry, Sunday afternoon. Mr. Dewey Floyd is Mrs. Ellie Reeder's brother. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Laney were guests of Mr. Laney’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Fowler at Cornoca, Saturday. Mrs. C. M. Giles of Woodruff spent a few days last week with her daughter, Mrs. Jonas Samples. Miss Sara Nell Heaton spent the week-endat Greenwood with Mrs. Otis Jefferson and family. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Samples were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Whitman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alexand er of Woodruff. Mr. andMrs. Carr oil Fulmer and children, Barbara and Dale, of Johnston spent Sunday with Mrs. Fulmer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Leopard. On Saturday Mrs. George Pruitt and Mrs. James Pruitt and son, David, visited the Keeowee Toxaway Project in Pickens County. Mrs. Luke Fuller of Green wood spent the week-end with Mrs. Ada Center and daughters. Mrs. C. W. Windsor and Sy bil and Mrs. Noleeka Foster visited Mrs. Mildred Brarillat the Fort Jackson Hospital near Columbia, Friday. Mrs. Wendell Robertson and son, Scott of Greenville spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L C. Heaton, and other relatives while her hus band, Wendell, enjoyed a trip deer hunting. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Auther Sanders were her neice and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Key and children of New EQenton. Sgt. and Mrs. C. F. Bearden and family of Aiken spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bearden. Mrs. Betty Caughman and children of Greenwood spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Caughman. Mr. and Mrs. Lorance Peace and family of Green ville spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Haines. Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whitsel oo Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Knox of Chester. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Sanders and daughter, Angela of Green wood visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Auther Sanders, Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Leo pard visited their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. James Derrick and sons, Ronnie and Allen at Prosperity, Tuesday. WITH THE SICK Mrs. Glenda Dominick and daughter, Willette, are ill at their home. Wayne Hornsby, Jr. was ill at his home last week. HALLOWEEN PARTY The Senior High Sunday School Class of the First Pentl- costal Holiness Church will have a Halloween Party, Satur day, October 24, at the par sonage. All members are urged to come dressed in Halloween costumes.
