Mr. and Mrs. Lniiis McAbee, of Spartanburg, Mrs. Hampton Wiggins, Mrs. Marcus Wal lace, and Mrs. Ralph Wallace of Enoree were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bearden. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hughes attended Homecoming and special singing at Rabun Creek Baptist Church at Gray Court where their son, Rev. James Hughes is pastor. Terri Hughes returned home with her grand parents for a few days visit. Mr. Claude Farmer and son, Randell. and Cecil Farmer at tended the funeral of their uncle, Henry Calenbaek, in Toccoa, Georgia on Monday. Mrs. Betty Floyd and child ren of Greenwood spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Annie Mae eaughman. Demeria Ward left Monday for Chicago, Illinois where she will spend two. weeks. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. David Owens were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gilbert and children and also Mv. Henry Pruitt and Ernest Caldwell all of Spartanburg. Week-end guests of Mrs. L. H. Pearson were Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs Manor and Pamela Paint er of Gaffney. Mr. Talmadge Sanders was In Spindale, N. C. last Thurs day due to the death of his cousin. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Hea ton and children visited in Greenville last Tuesday. Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Dalton on Saturday were Xrs. Walter Hughes and dau ghter, Debra, of Laurens and Charles Dalton and sons and Butler Harris of Calhoun Falls, Rev. and Mrs. Martin Wilbanks and Mrs. Robert Adams of this city also visited them recently. Mr. Author Sanders was in Spindale, N. C. last Thursday due to the death of his cousin. Mr. Robert Adams visited his brother, Cecil Adams, at the Veterans Hospital in Col umbia, Sunday. Church of God of Prophecy on North Sloan Street. Rev. Joe Kelly of Batesburg will be the guest speaker for the services which will begin at 7:30 each evening. Rev. Raymond E, I Duvall, pastor of the church, invites the public to attend. Debra Ann and Robin Lynn Kohn, daughters of Mrs. Gay- nell Kohn, have returned home from Bailey Memorial Hospital Tommy Medlin is a patient at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
