Other survivors include his wife, four daughters, a son, ano ther brother, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services were con ducted Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Boyce CHAPPELS - Mrs. Lucille Boyce died Tuesday, Dec. 2. She was a sister of Levi Golden of Cross Hill. Other survivors include her husband; a son, two sisters; ano ther brother. Funeral services were con ducted Sunday at Vaughnville Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. * * * Mrs. Townsend GREENVILLE-Mrs. Luna M. Townsend, 61, of 21 Rowley St., died Thursday, Dec. 4. She was the mother of Miss Ellen Town send of Clinton. Other survivors include her husband, two sons, two other daughters, three brothers, two sisters and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were heldSa- turday with burial in West View Cemetery in Liberty. Berkley Johnson Berkley Johnson, 80, died Thursday. He was a son of the late Susan Johnson. A native of Greer, he had lived in Clinton for more than 35 years and was a retired car penter. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Dora Johnston of Greer. Funeral services were held Sunday at Thompson Mortuary. Burial was in Friendship Church Cemetery. R. W. Koon Robert W. Koon, 51, of 203 Fer guson St., died Thursday. He was a native of Lexington County, but had lived in Joanna and Clinton for four years. He was a son of Mrs. Martha Lind- ler Barbery Koon of Clinton and the late Henry Roy Koon. He was a truck driver for a produce company and was a Lutheran and a veteran of World War U. Surviving also are his wife, Mrs. Gaynelle Barbery Koon; two daughters, Miss Deborah Anne Koon and Miss Robin Lynne Koon of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie Dodd of Santee, Mrs. Betty Kinard of Pomaria, Mrs. Nar- vice Longshore of Newberry and Mrs. Mattie Longshore of Saluda; and four brothers, Ira and Geo rge Koon of Newberry. Levi Koon of Simpsonville and Clarence J. Koon of Fountain Inn. Funeral services were held Friday at Gray Funeral Home. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers SPARTANBURG - Mrs. Annie Wallace Rogers, 80, died Sunday in Inman. She was the mother of Mrs. Helen Hughes of Clinton. Other survivors include two other daughters, three sons, 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Funeral services were con ducted Tuesday at M. W. Bobo Funeral Chapel with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Adams LAURENS - Mrs. Alice C. Ad ams, 81, of 158 Washington St., died Friday. She was the mother of Jesse Adams of Clinton and was a sister of Mrs. Betty Hill of Cross Hill. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Cross Hill. Other survivors include two other sons, three daughters, ano ther sister, two brothers, six grandchildren, 16 great-grand children and a great-great grand child. Funeral services were held Monday at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in New Hope AME Church cemetery. Junior High Chorus Concert Set Next Week Mrs. Grace Connor will pre sent her Clinton Junior High Chorus in concert Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m. The program of Christmas music will be held in the Junior High School auditorium. The pub lic is invited.
