Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Young of Mountville, S. C. on October 11 at St. Johns Luth eran Church in Linthicum, Md. Their wedding vows were re ceived in a double-ring ceremony with the Rev. Morris Zumbrun officiating before an alter de corated with while pom-poms and chrysanthemums. Given in mar riage by her uncle, Mr. Frederick Raymond Van Kerk, the bride wore an A-line styled gown of Peau de Sole with a chapel length train at tached at the shoulders. The gown was designed with long sleeves with lace appliques ac centing the front, train and sleeves. Her veil was held in place with an organza petal head- piece. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and lily of the valley with white streamers. Mrs. Patricia Dougherty, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor and Mrs. Elaine Ezell was bridesmaid. They wore aqua linen gowns accented with aqua daises and an aqua daisy pill box hat. They carried white carna tions tinted aqua streamers. Christmas Ideas Are Featured The Garden Clubs of Clinton will display interesting items to the public beginning at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at the First Baptist Church. The program’s purpose is to create interest in holiday beau tification. Garden club members are to bring tray favors for Veterans’ Hospital and a signed Christmas card to be mailed later to a soldier in Vietnam. It is hoped members will come and bring guests to this meeting. Sunbonnet Club Meets Nov. 24 The Sunbonnet Garden Club will meet on Monday, Nov. 24 at 3:30 p.m. at the homo of Mrs. Marc Weersing.
