Williams and Mrs. Will iams. Mr. and Mrs. Prue Waters have visited their daughter, Miss Brenda Waters in the Greenville General Hospital several times since her illness there. Don Jamison of Greenwood accom panied them there Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Arlee Huey of Enoree and Mr. and Mrs. David Hughes of Laurens were here last Thursday for the graveside funeral services of the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Huey. Mr. and Mrs. Hughes spent Sunday here with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Morton. Mrs. J. W. Wrenn of Water loo and Mrs. Gordon Davis and children of Laurens were Sat urday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker. Mrs. Kathleen Willard and Bill of Durham, N. Mr. Childress was also with his wife. The Davenports visited Monty Owens in the Greenville General Hospital on Sunday and Monday, Mrs. Davenport and Mr. Childress again visited Mrs. Childress and son. C. State Highway Department (a) RoadS-659, from Route 72 to Road S-30, a distance of ap proximately 4.0 miles. (b) Road S-660, from Route 92 to Road S-40, a distance of ap- rpoximately 2.5 miles. (c) Road S-598, from U. S. Route 221 to Road S-24, a dis tance of approximately 0.7 mile. The S. C. State Highway De partment will proceed with con struction, when necessary rights of way have been acquired. The proposed improvements will follow virtually along the existing roads, except for minor changes that may be necessary to comply with F. A. Secondary Road Standards. Bituminous surfacing will be construced to minimum width of 20 ft with adequate shoul ders to provide a two lane facility on a right of way basically 66 ft wide.
