While in Ohio, she made her home with her uncle, 1st Sgt. and Mrs. Jesse Harvey and family. Mrs. Jimmy Dutton and child ren of Clinton spent Sunday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hudson Davis. Johnny Lanford of Clemson University was at home the past weekend, coming especially to be with his father, Mr. J. L. Lanford, who is a medical patient at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Betty Brown and children, Pam, Cathy, Dana, and April, and Mrs. Brown’s mother, Mrs. Laura Darby and her granddaugh ters, Anna, Markia and Laura and Bruce Clark spent Sunday at Lake Greenwood. Mrs. David Word and daughter Sue Word and Mrs. J. F. Weir visited their brother, uncle and son, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Weir in Greenville on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Benny Tucker and M ike with Mrs. Fred Mathis made a recent visit to Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Kee and family, also Mr. and Mrs. John Hinson and new baby daughter, Marian Denise in Chester. Mr. Bobby Webb’s sister is a patient at Self Memorial Hospi tal in Greenwood, also his sis ter-in-law underwent surgery at Bailey Memorial Hospital last week. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. Matt Davis and Paul at Bond’s Cross Road last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Oakley of Anderson visited Mrs. Sidney Oakley and other relatives on a recent F riday. Mr. and Mrs. ErnestGoensand sons of Spartanburg visited Mrs. Goens sister Mrs. I. N. Pierce on Sunday. Also visiting Mrs. Pierce was her son Sp-5 Jesse Bradley and Mrs. Bradley of Ft. Bragg. N. C. They also visited the fltejtfhttier Air. I. N. Pierce who is a medical patient at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Moore and Debbie and Mrs. Lester Da vis visited Mrs. Moore’s and Mrs. Davis father, Mr. B. C. Dickson in Spartanburg Sunday. L. F. Davis with some friends motored to the Cherokee moun tains and other points of interest Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Fuller and Mrs. Mary Fuller visited their son and grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Fuller and family in Gaf- ney, Sunday. Also visiting the Bobby Fullers was his brother Mr. and Mrs. Bootsie Fuller. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton White were visitors in Charlotte, N. C. last week for Mrs. White to at tend the Carolina Beauty and Har vest Festival, and together they attended the entertainment part of the festival. Also the weekbefore they were in Columbia where Mrs. White attended the leader ship and teachers seminar at the University of South Carolina. They enjoyed their nights camp ing at Lake Murray. Rev. M. J. Sanders, pastor of Lydia Baptist Church has re turned to his home after more than four weeks stay in Bailey Memorial Hospital. He will be allowed a limited number of vi sitors only in the afternoon and they are asked to call Mrs. San ders before they visit him.
