Medlock arrived at Greenwood airport Friday night, he spent Friday night with his mother, Mrs. Frank Simpson and Mr. Simpson Sr. Also their daughter, Mrs. Floyd Scott and daughter, Dianne, spent the night with the Simpsons. Bobbs will leave Sunday morn ing to attend school at Bain- bridge MD for four weeks. He is with the US Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson will accompany their son to the airport on Sun day morning. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Manley and daughters, Mary Beth and Kern spent the weekend touring Jamestown, Williamsburg, Va., and the Cape Charles Area. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald C. Suber of Laurens, and Mrs. Henry Su ber attended the funeral on Sat urday of Mrs. Anna Suber Cas que, Mrs. Suber’s sister-in-law, in Florence. Mrs. Lila C. Stewart is con valescing at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. EarlStewart on Greenwood Highway following an illness and stay at Bailey Memorial Hospi tal. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nettles spent the weekend in Washington, D.C. with their son, Major Hey ward Nettles and family. Mrs. N. W. McDaniel has re turned home following several months visit with relatives in Canton and Fayetteville, N.C. Lt. and Mrs. Mike Reddeck of Fredericksburg, Va., spent the Easter holidays with their parents, Mrs. L. S. Reddeck and Mr. and Mrs. Brunson Asbill. Also here with Mrs. Reddeck was her son, Larry Reddeck a student at the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Miss Jacqueline Pitts of Chevy Chase, Md., spent the Easter holidays with her mother, Mrs. James Pitts and other relatives. Jim Adair, cadet at the Cita del, Charleston, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. Mac Adair. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grubb and Martin spent the Easter weekend in Wytheville, Va., as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Grubb and family. Mr. Grubb's father is critically ill in a Pulaski hospi tal there. Visiting Mrs. P. M. Pitts dur ing the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Pitts and child ren of Lynchburg, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. P. Mark Pitts and sons of Aiken and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pitts and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pitts and daughter of Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. John Montgomery of Knoxville, Tenn. were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nel son Dow. From here both cou ples went to Beaufort and Savan nah, Ga. for a few days. Mrs. W. A. Moorehead is spending sometime with Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell Henderson in Bilt- more, N.C. Mrs. Julian Bolick accompanied her there for the day, Sunday. Mrs. Alex Cruichshankes of Gainsville, Fla. visited Mr. and Mrs. W. G. King during the Eas ter holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blake and son, Doug of High Point, N.C. and Freddy Ray, student at Clem- son University spent Easter weekend with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ray. Col. and Mrs. John Wallace Copeland of Greenville spent Tuesday with his sister, Miss Elizabeth Copeland on Sunset Blvd. Major and Mrs. Richard _,ukstat and children, Bea and Dick, of Bowie, Md., left Tues day for Daytona Beach, Fla., to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lukstat after spending several days with Mrs. Luk- stat’s mother, Mrs. H. D. Payne. They will return for the weekend and on Sunday, accompanied by Mrs. Payne, will return to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Davis and children, Renie and Karren of Greenville and Miss Bonnie Cowan of Greenwood were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Milam. David Beckman of Lodi, Calif, and a student at Texas A&M Uni- veristy spent the spring holidays with his grandmother, Mrs. R. E. Ferguson. Miss Marjorie Arnold, grad uate student at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and Miss Kathryn Arnold, who attends the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Williamsburg, visit ed their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Arnold the past week. While here they had as guests, Miss Barbara Somerville of Fairfax, Va. also a student at William and Mary and Carl Zinn of Minn eapolis. Lt Sanders has just returned from a tour of duty in Japan. He and his family have remained for a visit before leav ing for Norfolk, Va. Mr. Jeremiah Holland of Cross, S. C. visited relatives and friends in Clinton on Sun day. Mrs. Jim Wood and little son, John left yesterday for their home in Stamford, Conn, after spend ing several days with her mother, Mrs. J. B. Speake, Mr. Wood joined them for a weekend visit. Clemson Club Meets Here Next Thursday The Laurens County Clemson Club will present the “Clemson Week Around the World’program Thursday night, April 17, at Mary Musgrove Hotel in Clinton.
