Coronation Is Held “Crown Him with Many Crowns* was the theme of the Girls’ Auxiliary Coronation Ser vice which was held on Sunday night at the Davidson Street Bap tist Church. It was the first such ceremony to be conducted since the church was organized in 1959. After a prelude of a medley of missionary hymns was played by Miss Jean Foster, the wel come was given by Mrs. Wilson Echols; the scripture was read by Mrs. Bobby Meadors, WMU President and a prayer given by Mrs. Laura Mae Howard. Maidens are Billie Godwin and Marie Hinson; Ladies-in-waiting are Vickie Dover and Margaret Ann Hellams; Princesses are Debbie Kirby, Ginger Wehunt, Joy Stanley, Beth Hellams and Kathy Shipman; Queens are Le- june Dunaway, Jan Meadors, Su sie Bryson, and Pam Meadors with attendants Elaine Trammell, Tina Gallman, Mitchell Meadors, and Michele Haselden. Music was furnished by Miss Ann Webb, pianist, Miss Jean Foster, organist, and Danny Jones, trumpter. Pastor M. Floyd Hellams gave the benediction. Presider was Mrs. Wilbur Tu- ten; Challenger, Mrs. Herbert O’Shields. Award presentations were made by Mrs. HowardStan- ley and Mrs. Wilson Echols. Services were conducted at Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. A native of Laurens County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Reeder. She was a member of ML Moriah Baptist Church. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Lessie Jackson, Mrs. Jamie Clark, Miss Mattie Reeder and Mrs. Cora Rice of Clinton; two brothers, James andJohnReeder of New York.
