Miller and child ren have returned to Baltimore after spending a 15 day leave with with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fuller In Newberry and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Flow In Joanna. Mrs. Wick Franklin and child ren of Columbia spent the weekend here with relatives. Mrs. Mac Smith, who has been here for a week, returned with them. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Holt and Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Elliott were Mr. and Mrs. CalvinElliottandchild- ren of Mt. Pleasant. ATTEND CONVENTION Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Craven attended the Postmasters’ Con vention at the Frances Marlon Hotel in Charleston on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bodle en joyed several days’ vacation last week in Stone Mountain, Ga., with the latter’s sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mr. J.F. Sessoms. Mrs. Barbara Glenn and son Davy spent several days last week In Greenwood with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Sims. On Saturday Mrs. Helen Smith and son of Colum bia and her mother Mrs. Duncan of Charleston visited Mrs. Glenn and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Boyce. Their weekend guests were Mrs. Sue Misenhiemer and son of Chester Mr. and Mrs. Lou McMurry and children of Swainsboro, Ga., spent the weekend with the latters parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Chalk. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Furr and Martha of Clinton spent the week end in Sumter with Mrs. Ellen Brunson, and Mrs. Eckard Boyce. The latter returned with them to spend a few days with them and other relatives in Joanna. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Buford Lowery were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Davis and family. Sunday guests of Mrs. Lillian Estes were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Estes and children, Brett, Brad ley, Tara and Tonya, of Green ville. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth C. Griffis, Ken, Randy and Wayne of Pendleton were Sunday guests of Mrs. J. M. Bozard and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Bozard. Visit ing them in the afternoon were Mrs. Richard Cash and Mr. and‘ Mrs. Dickie Cash of Cowpens. Later in the evening, Mrs. J.D. Bozard and daughter Margaret visited Mrs. J. E. Braswell, Sr. in Clinton. Sunday out-of-town guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Murphy were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brooks of attend wedding . and Mrs. John H. Chalk returned •om a year’s duty in Vietnam n Monday, May 6 and will spend month’s leave with his parents, lr. and Mrs. T. R. Chalk. Sgt balk has completed four tours f duty in Vietnam. Following his jave he will be stationed in alifornia until he receives fur- »r orders.
