ton was ginned Friday, Sept. 29. The cotton was produc
ed by Rufus Neel of Cross Hill. The bale weighed 525
pounds and was purchased by Mountville Gin Co. at
40 cents a pound. Mountville Gin Co. is now qualified
to produce quality lint. Each bale is tagged as quality
• lint -cotton. Neel has his entire erop planted to Cokers
413 which is supposed to be longer staple and more de
