The two-member team will work under the direction of Mrs. Larry Ashley of Green ville, director of piloting, to launch a new kind of training for Girl Scout leaders. The Design for Learning, which grew out of a three-year study authorized by Girl Scouts of the U. S. A. v , is a plan for help ing leaders to teach them selves—to take responsibility, with guidance, for their own development as leaders. Named to the pilot project in Old Ninety Six Council are: Mrs. Larcell Bell, Mrs. T. C. Davis, and Mrs. Hubert Simp son of Clinton. Approximately 30 leaders in Old Ninety Six will participate in the Design for Learning this year. The-Council ex tends throughout Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Pickens, Oconee, Anderson and Abbe ville Counties and includes a membership of 4500 girls and 1000 adults.. Ten Letters Are Awarded to PC Basketball Men Ten varsity basketball let ters are being awarded by Presbyterian College for par ticipation during the J966-67 season, Athletic Director Gai ly Gault announced today. He said the group includes one senior, two juniprs, four sophomores, and three fresh men.
