C. are visiting her pai’ertts, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McLendon and Mr. Bailey’s mother, Mrs. Jim Bailey while Mr. Bailey is on a business trip to New Jersey. Mrs. John Heath of Green ville returned to her home Thursday after two week’s stay here with her s'ster, Miss Feroline Seay who is recuper- atirg from recent surgery. Children’s Program On Mondays The childrens weekday pro gram at the Lydia Presbyter ian Church is being held on Monday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. instead of on Tuesdays as previously an nounced.. This is an interdenomina tional program and those in the first grade through the sixth are urged to attend re gardless of the church you at tend. Lydia Fishing Club Re-Organized Saturday evening a supper was held at Providence School for the purpose of reorganiz ing the Lydia Fishing Club. Officers elected were Per ry' Parrish, president: Fur man Bratcher, vice president; J. B. Neal, secretary and trea surer and B. F.. Harvey, prize director. The club will be from Feb^ ruary 15 through October 15 with all joining after the op ening date waiting two weeks before registering a fish. ' A committee to study and revice, if needed the club’s present by-laws was appoint ed, They are, Ezzie Miller, Clyde Trammell, Mr. Par rish, Mr. Neal and Mr. Har vey. The club will then vote on the by-laws. Mrs; Clhude Parrish is a medldal patient at Bailey Me- moxtal Hospital. Mrs. Mack Conner is able to be but after an illness at honie and a few days in Bail ey Memorial Hospital.
