Bruce showed Ruth to Grand Cham pion Ayrshire at Greenville, Spartanburg and Laurens fairs this year to mak t > a total of eleven times he has had the Grand Champion Ayr shire. I think this is quite an accomplishment for a 13- year-old. Although Bruce, an eighth grader at Clinton Jr. High School ,is only 13 years old, he has been showing cattle for seven years. This is not unusual where there are old er brothers showing cattle. Bruce attended 4-H Clubs for four years before he was old crough to join. Mr. Simpson gave Bruce a purebred calf when h e was six and by the time brothers graduated, he hao won enough premium money sowing his calf to buy He has several years left in their cattle. • which to excell in 4-H work.
