Mr. Covington plans to keep about 40 head on grass and grain and about 40 head in dry lot. The cattle are sold to local markets. “Lots of times, people come here and bt?y them out pf the feed lot before they are finished. They just won’t wait,” Mr. Covington said. The feed lot consists qf an old converted bqrn with qn additional shed where a large Hills Dale feeder is located with a capacity pf several tons. The cattle go in and out from an open lot to feed. A few hogs were following the cattle. The Covingtons have two children, Mary and Dickie. Mary is an. outstanding stu dent a Gray Court - Owings.
