Mrs. Mimnaugh Bridge Hostess Mrs. John Mimnaugh was hostess to members of her bridge club when they as sembled at her home on East Walnut Street last Thursday for their first meet ing following a summer break. Three tables were arrang ed for play, with arrange ments of roses adding a dec orative note. Mrs. George Cornelson and Mrs. Claude Crocker were awarded prizes following several progressions. A dessert course with cof fee was enjoyed before play. Wesley Brotherhood Hears Dr Anderson Dr. George H. Anderson, dean of the Graduate School, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Columbia, was guest speaker for the ladies’ night dinner given by the Wes ley Brotherhood of Broad St. Methodist Church Thursday evening in Hodges Hall. Invocation was given by the pastor, the Rev. E. W. Rog ers. Following dinner, the president, Dr. Ronald Burn side, greeted the guests and announced ihe slate of new of ficers nominated for the com ing year. President, Allen Sim mons; Vice - President, Joe Holland; Secretary, Marvin Gault; and Treasurer, Charles Pitts. Rev.
