Mr. and Mrs. Tom O’- Shields and children of Mari- etjta, Ga. were recent guests of Mrs. Sara O’Shields, other relatives and friends. Kathy and Carolyn Metts returned with them for several days and returned home with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Metts, who were there last week-end for a visit. Mrs. O’Shields accompanied them and remained for an extend ed visit. Mr. and Mrs. Vinson Ad ams, Kenny and Jimmy and Mrs. Dorothy Morris enjoyed last Tuesday at Chimney Rock, N. C. On last Thursday, Miss Elaine Petty and Jack Norris of Newberry took a trip to Gatlingburg, Tenn., going by Cherokee and other points of interest.
