Widening and resurfacing of Highway 76 through Woodville and Green Pond areas from junction of Highway 101 to Greenville County line—to include also Highway 120 to Greenville County line. This project was approved by the Highway Commission April 21, 1966. Survey has been completed. 4. Laurens County has entered into an era of the greatest business and industrial growth in its entire history. In the first two years of your Senator’s administration, the Torrington Company has com pleted a $1,800,000.00 expansion, the new C. W. Anderson Hosiery Plant built and now in operation, Mansure Plant now under construction, eight million dollar Bdiley Plant now under construction. Tavern Sportswear Plant completed and now in operation and a few days ago announcement was made that two more industries will locate in the county. 5. Numerous county roads placed in Highway System for construction this summer. 6. $120,000 improvement to Laurens County Airport. 7. Additional $250,000 in state funds made available this year to Whitten Village through the ef forts of your Senator. ■ ' . • 8. Salary increases to County employees. 9.
