POAG HONORED Mr. and Mrs. David Gogan and children and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Poag of Clinton honored L. H. Poag with a birthday dinner on Easter Sunday at the home of the Gogans on the Whitmire Road. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Paleo and children of .Anderson, and Mrs. Poag. RECORD PPARTY Miss Mary Rogers enter tained a group of teenagers with a record party at her home on the Whitmire Road on Saturday evening. They enjoyed dancing and party games. Mary’s mother, Mrs. J. Z. Rogers, assisted in serv ing refreshments. PTA MEET The Joanna Elementary School Parent-Teacher Asso ciation will hold the final meeting of the •ohool year on Tuesday evening, April 19, at 7:30. A business meeting is scheduled. A special pro gram will be givtn by the girls’ chorus and the Joanna Junior Hi band. All members and interested citizens are in vited to attend.
