Rasor Mountville — Mrs. Blanche Culbertson Rasor. 83, widow of Sam James Rasor, died yester day at 11:30 a. m at a Travel ers Rest nursing home after several years of declining health. Mrs. Rasor was the daughter of the late Williarp Pierce and Margaret .Ellen (Culbertson Culbertson. She was bom in Laurens County, but lived in Mountville most of her life. She was a member of the Mountville Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter. Mrs. C. R. Wylie, Jr. (Ellen), of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sons. Col. Sam J. Rasor of Co- luhbia, and C. Lewis Rasor of Greenville; a sister, Mrs. E. A. Adams of Cross Hill; three, grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were con ducted Wednesday at 3:00 p. m. at the Mountville Baptist Church by Rev. Jackson Touch, berry and Dr. L. D. Johnson. Burial was in the church ceme tery'- elder of the First, Presbyterian Church in Joanna and is now a communicant of All Saints Episcopal Mission in Clinton- He 4s former president and vice-president, and trustee of Joanna Foundation. He is sec retary-treasurer of Joanna Stores, Inc., and Joanna Com munity Corporation, both whol ly owned by Joanna Founda tion. Teen Activity Is Scheduled Friday As a break in the exam sche dule for the local high school students, a “Teen Club” activity is planned for all in the com munity of this £^ge for Friday night from 7:30 ’til 10:30. Vari ous types of activities, including table games, table tennis, volley ball, shuffleboard, and dancing, will be open to those who come. There is no charge or admission fee, except for the rcfreslnr.cnts that will be available. Those who attend are asked not to plan to go and come throughout the time, but to come and stay as long as they wish, N»nd then leave. Hamilton Joseph Tally Hamilton, 60, died in a local hospital Friday at 12:40 a. m. after three months of declining health. Native of Jackson County, Ala., son of the late George and Hester Horton Hamilton, he lived in Clinton 14 years. He was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, committee and former training union director at Lydia Baptist Church. . Surviving are his wife, M^s. Minnie Ledford Hamilton,^ three daughters, Mrs. James E. Fuller of Savannah, Ga. Mrs. William M. Nelson of Clinton and Mrs. Harold Griffin of Greenwood; a son, Marvin M. Hamilton of Clinton; four broth ers, Howard Hamilton of At lanta. Jenkins Assigned To Florida Base Airman Thomas W. Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E.
