Mrs. J. I. Adair of Green ville has been visiting Mrs. Emmie McMahan and daugh ter, Mrs. Almon Spencer. Mrs. Ferdinand Jacobs is re cuperating at home for a few days following a minor injury over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Snelgrove and Bin. R. L. Snelgrove and daughter, MUdred visited in Saluda Sunday with the letters sister, Caye Berry, and also in Bates burg with Mr. and Mn. Zonnie Hawkins and family. Mrs. Hugh Eichelberger was a visitor in Anderson on Monday and Tuesday. While there she attended a dinner party given by Bin. Walter Mayfield in honor of a niece, Mn. Stephen Green- berger of Morristown, New Jer sey. On Tuesday Mn. Eichelber ger and her sisten, Mrs. John Townsend and Mrs. Dillard Wat son entertained their niece at lunch at the Dogwood Club in Anderson. Culbreath of Charlotte, N .C., spent Satur day with her mother, Mn. O. I. Sheely. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Purker- son of Raleigh, N. C., spent the week-end with Mn. J. B. Wilder. David Waten of Decatur, Ga., and Miss Bev erly Muller of Anderson, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mn. Paul Muller. Dr. Richard Lyon Morgan delivered the intensive Bible study, “The Early Church in Action,” on October 18 and 14 to the women of the Fayette ville Presbyerial at Highland Presbyterian Church, Fayette ville, N. C. Mr. and Mn. P. Mark Pitts and sons of Aiken, spent the weekend with Mn. P. M. Pitts. Mr. and Mrs. C. Wayne Jarvis and children, Mike, Stanley and Jenny of Rock Hill visited Mn. Ethel R. EXHIBIT ART AT FAIR Among Clintonians exhibiting works of art last week in the Spartanburg Fair were Mn. A. C. Young and Mn. Marshall Brown. Mrs. Young received an honorable mention for her oil painting in the amateur division and Mrs. Brown third place with an oil painting. Also exhibiting was Mrs. David S. Cook in the professional division with an oil portrait.
