Roberts have returned home from New York where they at tended the Kiwanis International Meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy E. Moore Jr. and family attended a surprise birthday dinner for his mother and father in Mountvflle Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Bailey and Mr. and Mrs Melvin Bailey and son spent the past week in Good- water. Ala., with relatives. Misses Fay Bailey and Bobbie Cumby were at Myrtle Beach a few days then with “Skeet” Bailey and Jack Cumby joined the Bailey's in Goodwater. Mrs. Floyd Cumby and children of Fort Carson, Colorado, who were also visiting in Goodwater re turned home with the Baileys' for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Furman Bratch er and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Owens and children vacationed at Myr tle Beach last week. Before and after the beach trip, Mr. Bratch er visited his mother. Mm. Sallie Bratcher in the hospital in Simp son ville. Mr. and Mm. Rabon Wyatt, Misses Joyce Wyatt and Peggy Grady, Mrs. Paul Patterson and Judy, Larry and J. D. Wyatt spent a few days of their vaca tion week at Folly Beach in Charleston. Mrs. Mary Fallaw spent a few days last week In Greenville with her daughter, Mrs. David Storey, Mr. Story and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Miller and family of Anderson spent July 4 with her mother, Mrs. Effle Willis. Mr. and Mm. Doyle Steading and children of Greer visited his mother, Mm. Mame Steading at the home of his sister. Mm. Ray Campbell and Mr. Camp bell, recently.' Mr. and Mrs J. B. O’Shield’s spent the past week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Claud Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Lambert in Chicago, 111. Mrs. Bob Yarborough has re turned to her home in Woodruff after visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith McGee, while here they all visit ed Mr. and Mm. Mike Yarbor ough in Greenwood. ■ A-lc Jimmie Meeks left Tues day from California for a tour of duty in Viet Nam. He is the son of Mm. Francis Meeks. Mr. and Mrs. J. B.
