Crapps of West Columbia, are visiting their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Dominick, and other friends and relatives. Mrs. S. D. Weathers enjoyed a few days visiting with rela tives in Greenwood recently. She returned to Joanna on Wednes day. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Poag and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cole at tended the Cole reunion last Sun day at the Greenwood State Park. Mrs. Ryan Poag of Whit mire, joined the Poags. Tommy Jenkins, student at Massey College in Atlanta, and a friend, Miss Harriet Bearden, a student also, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Jenkins. Sue Jenkins accompan ied them back to visit Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Jenkins and family for two weeks. Recent guests of Mrs. Grover Nabors were Mrs, Lee Smith of Clinton, and Mrs. Carrie Domi nick of Tryon, N. C. VISITED IN MO. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Arthur re turned last week after enjoying a two weeks visit with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Arthur and children, Steve and Angela. Angela is the newest member of the family. She was bom on May 31 in St. Louis. Mrs. Dixie Caughom and chil dren, Eric, Sand! and Vicki, of Morristown, Tenn., are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Le- Roy Couch. She joined them and attended the Reeves reunion in Easley on the 6th, and last Sun day they attended the Cole reun ion at the home of Mrs. Bamma Dearman in Marietta. Miss Vicky Lynn Holder of Abbeville, is spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Young. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Thompson and Randy spent the week-end in Seneca with Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Thompson. VISITING IN FLORIDA Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Norris are enjoying a three weeks visit in Clearwater, Fla., with her sis ters, Miss Ruby Fennell and Mrs. Mertie Walker. The Norris es accompanied them home af ter they were here for the week end. Also with them for the week-end was a brother, Jack Fennell, of Perry, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Craven and Gaye, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gilliam visited Mrs. PhiUp Col lier at the University Hospital, Augusta, Ga., on Sunday. Mrs. A. S. Holt, who has been spend ing some time with her, return ed home. Mrs. Collier, the for mer Salverine Elliott, is improv ing. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Elliott, former residents of Joanna. Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Murphy wefe: Mrs. Sam Taylor of Lanford and Mrs. B. F. Ward of and Sue of Green ville. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Maxie Murphy, Mrs. J. T. Mur phy, and Mrs. and Mrs. Earl Murphy of Union, visited them. A Friday overnight guest of Elaine Boyce was Miss Betsy Mitchum of Camden. On Satur day they visited the latter’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Mitchum, in An derson. Mrs. Barbara Glenn is spend ing the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Boyce. Mr. Boyce is recuperating at his home after undergoing surgery at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood. EARLS Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Earls an nounce the birth of a daughter, Alexandria Elaine, on Friday, June 4, at Bailey Memorial Hos pital. She is the former Marcella Gosnell of Whitmire. The Earls moved to Clinton recently from Blacksburg where he was chief of police for nine years. He assumed the duties of route manager for the Greenville News-Piedmont. They have nine other, children. TROTTER Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Trotter announce the birth of a daughter, Lesia Darlene, on June 12 at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Trotter is the former Joyce Johnson of Elberton, Ga. MOORE Sgt. and Mrs. William L. Moore of Fort Meade, Md., an nounce the birth of a daughter, Angela Renee, at BaUey Memo rial Hospital on May 31. Mrs. Moore is the former Diane Morse of Joanna. They have two other children. COVERED DISH SUPPER Epworth Methodist Church will have a covered dish supper on Sunday evening, June 20, at 7 o’clock. This event will close the Bible school and after a pe riod of fellowship, all will go to the sanctaury where the chil dren will receive certificates. Each child Is asked to bring their parents. Fulmer of Newberry, and James Fulmer of Joanna; three daughters, Mrs. R. C. (Peart) Lunsford of Clin- ton; Mrs. H. M. (June) Barrett of Woodruff; and Mrs. B. R.
