No formal invitations have been issued, but friends and relatives are invited to at tend. Miss Neighbors is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Addison Neighbors. She was graduated from Winthrop College on May 30, earning a B. S. degree. During her college years she served as House Councilor, class officer during her sophomore and junior years, member of Senate during her junior and senior years, and was president of the Association of Childhood Education, a na tional organization. Recently she was selected as the senior with the best personality. Mr. Morgan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Morgan of Clinton. While attending Clemson University he was a member of Delta Sigma Nu fraternity, clerk of Student Affairs, and Concert Marshal. Upon his discharge from the U. S. Army, he accepted a posi- MRS. Milam home, with Miss Marion Milam and Miss Mary Leona Milam as joint hostesses. As the guests arrived favors of wishbones and wed ding rings were pinned on by Miss Mary Leona Milam. Several appropriate games and contests were played. The bonoree received many lovely gifts. A color scheme of bridal white and green was carried out, using magnolia and lilies in artistic arrangements in the living and dining rooms. Refreshments were served buffet style from the dining table overlaid with a cutwork cloth. Sandwiches, cheese straws, cake squares, nuts, mints, and punch were served. Church Group Honors Miss Bolick Miss Julie Bolick, bride-elect, was honored Tuesday evening by the women of the Hopewell Methodist Church with a mis cellaneous shower in the educa tional building. ^ The gifts were presented in a novel manner in a parasol made of brides’ napkins. A reception followed at Sara Jo Hartness Hall on the Thornwell campus. Dr. William Hammond Bow man of Clover, and the Rev erend Thomas Stallworth of this city, officiated. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, John Lewis Mc Carter of Clover, wore a silk organza over taffeta sheath gown with pearl embroidered lace applique on bodice and skirt. A detachable cathedral train extended from the waist. A rose headdress held her el bow-length veil. She carried a cascade of Garden Party roses centered with an orchid. Mrs. Frank Smith of Gas tonia/ N. C., was her sister’s matron of honor, and Miss Virginia Huie of LaGrange, Ga. t served as maid of honor. They wore romance blue organza sheath dresses designed with scooped neckline, elbow-length sleeves, and detachable train. A matching blue rose held their gathered veils and they carried a bouquet of pink roses.
