Seaman Bruce S. Quarles left Sunday aboard the USS Tatnall after spending a leave in Clin ton with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Quarles. Before re turning to the states March 14 Seaman Quarles spent four and a half months aboard the Tatt nall cruising the Mediterranean, the Riviera, Tunis, Barcelona, and returning to the harbor at Charleston. Visiting Lieut. Col. Richard W. Ulrich and Mrs. Ulrich last week were their son, Ricky, and Marshall Culbreth of Be- thesda, Md., students at Cush. i n g Academy, Ashburnham, Mass. Her daughter Miss Becky Crisp, is recovering from a broken ankle suffered Friday, and is at home after being dismissed from Bailey Memo rial Hospital in Clinton.
