Among those enjoying the senior Washington trip last week were Misses Peggy Grady, Joyce Wyatt, Sue Word, Becky Moore and Linda White, Larry Fuller and Johnny Lanford. Mrs. Ed Huckaby and Annette of Welford, visited her mother, Mrs. Lula Bishop, and sister, Mrs. L. A. Williams, over the week-end. Mrs. Bishop returned home with her daughter. Mrs. Bishop was called to Gaffney Sunday night due to the death of her half-sister, Mrs. Bessie Higgins. Mrs. Williams was in Gaffney Tuesday for the funeral services. - Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Berry and family of Fork Shoals, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Patterson and children of Inman, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pitts and Donny of Clinton, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bodie. J. B. Roberts of Lyman, and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Cannon of Arcadia, spent Sunday with their son and brother, D. E. Roberts, and Mrs. Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gaffney spent the week-end in Charles ton and visited the gardens in the area. Miss Frances Cato came home Sunday after spending the week with her sister, Mrs. Pauline Young, in Laurens. Carrie A.
