Mr. and Mrs. Bill Poag of Bur lington, N. C., Were Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Poag. On Sunday af ternoon the L. H. Poags visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Osborne in Trenton. A week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Boyce was their son, Tommy, of Fieldale, Va. While here he attended the homecom ing game at Clemson University on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Abercrom bie and family were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Graham in Walhalla. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Boyce were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Boyce and Mrs. R. E. Boyce in Lynchburg and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Boyce and Cherry, and Cheryl Nodine of Aiken, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Mason Ro land and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boyce. Mrs. Annie Hall spent Sunday in Little Mountain with Mr. and Mrs. James R. Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bryant of Ninety-Six, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Bryant. The two Mrs. Bryants, along with Earl Bryant, visited Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dllishaw in Clinton on Sunday also. LOCAL FANS ENTERTAIN TEAMS ^Hawkins Cafe, now under the management of Julian Hunni- cutt, has been the site where a number of interested Joanna football fans have entertained, recently, the varsity and junior varsity teams of Clinton with hamburger steak suppers. On Tuesday evening the Jo anna Je$g (Mites) were honor ed the same, way for their out standing football season.
