Mr. and Mrs. Buford Lowery and Karen spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Alls- brook and family in Sumter and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Davis and children in Camden. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Gosnell were Mrs. Charles Milton and children of Spartanburg. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Elliott and Mrs. Cancie B. Arnold were Saturday visitors in Spartanburg and remained for the all-night singing at Memorial Auditorium. CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY Last Sunday Bobby O’Shields, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barron O'Shields was the honored guest at his home with a birthday din ner. He received several gifts from his friends and relatives. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Tommy O’Shields and son, and Mrs. J. W. Kennington and children of Atlanta, Ga. Bobby was four years old on October 19. ASSIGNMENT IN ENGLAND A2C Donald Brown, who is permanently assigned to Schil ling AFB, Kansas, is currently assigned to Brize Norton AB, England, for 90 days. Ha will re turn to the states sometimes in December. Airman Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brown of Joanna. ATTEND REUNION IN ALABAMA C. E. Chapman returned last Wednesday after spending two weeks in Gadsden, Ala. He was there to attend the reunion of the 81st Division, known as the Wild cats, (A the First World War, which was held in Gadsden on the 9-10-11. His old buddy, John L. Warren, of Florence.
