Mrs. Lemual Leopard spent last Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Leopard and family in Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Sanders visited Mrs. Sanders’ father, R. D. Smith in Augusta, Ga., Sun day. He has been a patient in the hospital there for some time. Laurance Leopard from Co lumbia spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Leopard. Mrs. J. B. Snelgrove spent Wednesday visiting her brother, Henry Martin, who is a patient in Oteen hospital in Asheville, N. C. - Johnny Snelgrove left Friday for Fort Jackson where he has enlisted in the army. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Dennis and Mrs. Bessie Floyd and Mr. and Mrs. Druoe Martin of New berry visited Mrs. Elbe Reeder Sunday. Sgt. David Hingos and Mrs. Hingos of Savannah, Ga., visited Mrs. Hingos’ mother Mrs. C. E. Lowery recently Mrs. Tom O’SMeld has recent ly received word that her grand son was injured critically in a car accident in Belgium, where his parents are stationed. Ben William Jr., has returned to U.S. Air Force, where he has re-enlisted. Mrs. Essie Powell of Greer is spending a week with her moth er, Mrs. Ada Center and others here. Laura Major is home after a stay at Self Memorial Hospital, in Greenwood. Mrs. G. H. Major was hostess at a birthday party honoring Susan on her tth birthday last Thursday. Guests included Su san’s schoolmates. Pm Meadors won the game prize, after which ice cream, cake and punch were served. Susan was remembered withvnkny gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dunaway visited Mrs. Dunaway’s parents in Woodruff last week. Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Buttle visit ed relatives in Marion N. C. re cently. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Quinn were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Fowler in Spartanburg last week-end. Mrs. Mae Allen and Mrs. Jerry Allen and Susan of Columbia were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. W.
