Mrs. Prince hopes to return home this week. Gary Sprouse, ICFN, of the U. S. Navy, of Charleston, spent the week-end with Mrs. Sprouse and son, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sprouse, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Williams were Easter Sunday d i n-p-e r guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Williams in Newberry. Mrs. R. M. Morgan of Green ville, visited her brother, Earl Armstrong, and Mrs. Armstrong on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Ledford and daughters of Gas tonia, N. C., were Easter guests of her parents, the Armstrongs. Miss Dianne Patterson spent the past week with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Charles (Pete) Cooper has re turned to The Citadel in Charles ton after spending the spring holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cooper. Mrs. S. B. Cooper and Miss Betty Coop er of Great Falls, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper and family. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kellett and children of Enoree, were Saturday visitors of Mr. and Floyd Emery. angeburg, spent the past week Mrs. Barbara Barnes of Or- with her sister, Mrs. John Hold er, and Mr. Holder, and her pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. R. In the af ternoon they all visited Mrs. Eu nice Hughes’ brother and sister- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Lambrick, in Woodruff. MISS WIGLET, BRIDE-ELECT, ENTERTAINED The Lydia Community Build ing was the scene of a lovely bridal shower honoring Miss Peggy Wiggly, April bride-elect. During the evening several ap propriate and entertaining games were enjoyed. Refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. William Bowling, Mrs. R. E. Martin, Mrs. Quinton Jones and Miss Fay Bailey. Miss Wigley was presented a shower of gifts which she opened for alt to admire. WITH THE SICK Lynn and Cindy McGee have had measles. Mrs. J. W. Campbell has been ill at her home, while at play last week. Jimmy Neal injured his arm Mrs. John Deaton, Sr., is a surgical patient at BaUey Memo rial Hospital. Mrs. Janie Miller is a patient at Bailey Memorial Hospital.
