Master Scotty Mauphin cele brated his 6th birthday on Wed nesday with a party at his home on Wes Maple Street. Scotty is the son of Capt a.nd Mrs. Joe Maupin. Miss Jean Layton of Green- the Clinton Nursing Home. Mr. and Mrs. Gil Burdick and children of Greenville, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bedenbaugh. Also visiting from Greenville was Jack Bowdoin. HAS BIRTHDAY PARTY Little Miss Tina Ousts was honored on her second birthday with a party at her home on rcim street recently. Tina is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Er nest Ousts. Miss Mildred Mallard is a new resident in the city. Her work is with the First Presby terian Church as Area Director for the Synod’s Committee of Christian Educatino. Miss Mal lard is formerly of Charlotte, N. C., were called to Warner Rob ins, Ga., last wek due to the serious illness of their daugh ter and sister, Mrs. Victor Bowman. Mrs. Loftis will leave today for an indefinite stay with her daughter, Mrs. Bow man, who recently returned from a hospital stay.
