Mrs. Boyce Bowen is in Chica
go, 111., with Mr. Bowen, who
has been seriously ill, but is im
proving at this time.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamer Jacks
visited little Nita Jacks, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. James
Jacks, who is a patient in the
Spartanburg General hospital, on
Sunday.
Miss Clara McCall of Green
ville, sprat last week with Mrs.
J. M. Hatton.'

Fla., sprat the week-end with
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. M.
Elliott.

The Joanna Woman’s Chib will
meet tonight at the chib house
at 7:30. Mrs. Johnny Moore and
Mrs. Hack Prater will have
charge of the program. Mrs.
Gladys Nabors’ group will en
tertain.
ASSOCIATIONAL BA NIGHT
This is Royal Ambassador
Week and Saturday, November

the Hurricane Baptist Church.
The boys will leave the church
at 3:30 p. m. along with their
counselors.
REVIVAL BEGINS
Revival services began Sun
day, November 10, and will con
tinue through November 17 at
the Joanna Chruch of God. Rev.
W. L. Broome of Blacksburg,
will be the visiting speaker. Ser
vices will begin at 7:00 each
night.
